Dragonball Frost: Episode 7: Dodoria and the Underdog.
Ginyu approached Jeice with a huge smile. “Well done with your victory, you missed a few fights in recovery though.”
Jeice looked at Ginyu in shock. “I-I-I won?” He stuttered, unsure how he won while he was unconscious.
Ginyu laughed loudly as the screen showed the next two fighters, Ginyu and Diaz. “Your blast as you fell took out Appule, he simply lost before you did. He wasn’t happy about it either.” Ginyu walked towards the arena to meet with his opponent.
The buzzer sounded and Diaz immediately dived to the side as he threw an energy blast at Ginyu, Ginyu side stepped it and flew towards Diaz, Diaz put his guard up stopping the attack. He retaliated by trying to kick Ginyu, but Ginyu was easily able to block it.
Jeice watched the two fighters trade blows, they were so evenly matches that neither could take a lead. Being the same Species as Recoome, Diaz had to be strong, it was good to see Ginyu keeping up with him.
Diaz landed a kick to Ginyu’s shin, then punched him in the face, Ginyu was knocked back but stayed upright. Ginyu took a swing at Diaz, Diaz grabbed his arm and twisted it, Ginyu quickly fell to his knees, unable to break Diaz’s grip. Diaz moved behind Ginyu and pushed a leg into Ginyu’s back, dislocating Ginyu’s shoulder.
Ginyu screamed in pain as Diaz kept pulling on his right arm. Ginyu’s hand opened and the screamed even louder as an energy blast left his hand, hitting Diaz in the chest, Diaz kept his grip, the blast did basically nothing. Diaz twisted the arm more and Ginyu’s screaming suddenly stopped. He felt a jolt of pain so intense that he couldn’t make a sound.
Ginyu stopped holding himself up and slumped to the ground. Diaz knowing it was over, let go of Ginyu’s arm. Salza laughed from the stands. “Well after all of that big talk, Ginyu couldn’t even make it passed the first round!” Burter laughed alongside Salza and Ginyu slowly picked himself up off of the ground.
“It’s not over yet!” Ginyu dived at the unsuspecting Diaz, an energy blade forming around his left hand, he stabbed Diaz in the stomach, Diaz gasped as Ginyu pulled the energy blade from his stomach. Diaz stood his ground and grabbed Ginyu’s wrist, then started charging an energy blast in his other hand, Ginyu swung his body at Diaz, flinging the dislocated arm at him, knocking Diaz down, Ginyu swiftly kicked Diaz out of the ring. Ginyu looked Salza in the eye, holding his injured arm. “It’s going to take more than this to take me down.”
Ginyu walked out of the arena as he popped his arm back in, groaning in pain. The next two names appeared on the screen above, Iru and Lemone. Lemone looked like Appule, but buffer. Being buffer than Appule didn’t mean much when standing next to Iru, a large green man with a fin on his head.
The buzzer sounded and Lemone ran at Iru, he laughed and punched Lemone in the face, Lemone dropped to the ground immediately, Iru dived on Lemone’s neck, blood spat from his mouth, he died instantly. Jeice questioned why Lemone was even in the arena, he didn’t even last thirty seconds against Iru, who hadn’t even been listed in the top 8 fighters in the tournament.
Salza’s voice echoed through the arena once more. “We are on to the Quarter Finals, and since we are down to 8 of the best fighters in the entire Frieza Force, the no killing rule is in effect, Lord Frieza would be very displeased to find out some of his strongest men have died. Anyone who kills at this point, will be punished by Lord Frieza himself. Our first round will be Dore and Cui, second round is Jeice and Dodoria, the third round will include Recoome and Lhyme and in our final round, Ginyu will fight Iru! Best of luck to all of you.” Dore and Cui stepped into the ring, Cui looked nervous, he knew the power gap between himself and Dore was overwhelming, the buzzer sounded and Cui froze in place.
Dore walked towards Cui, who raised an open shaking hand at Dore, Dore didn’t even flinch at the idea of Cui using an energy blast. Cui’s hand glowed and Dore vanished, immediately appearing behind Cui, he grabbed Cui by the back of the head and slammed him into the ground.
