Dragonball Frost: Episode 1: Welcome To The Frieza Force
The Ginyu Force and Salza’s new team arrived at Dodoria’s location, Dodoria was shaking in fear. Ginyu approached him. “What happened? Where is the Frost Demon?”
“H-h-he took my scouter. M-m-made me trade it for my life.” All Frost Demons that Ginyu had met had a power of at least half a million, and last he checked, Dodoria was barely 20 thousand.
Burter kicked Dodoria in the stomach. “You should have let yourself die you fool, he wanted that scouter to hunt us!” Everyone’s scouter beeped at once, warning them of a high power level headed their way.
Just like with Dabura, the scouters were unable to read the power level because it was too high. In just seconds they saw a Frost Demon floating above them, looking down on them. This Frost Demon looked similar to Frieza, but with dark blue plating where Frieza had purple. Salza gently flew into the air to face the Frost Demon.
Ginyu followed Salza, as they were the leaders of their respective groups, their job was to find out what powerful and dangerous enemies wanted. Salza was the first to open his mouth. “I am Salza of Cooler’s Armoured Squadron, this is Ginyu. We are not here to fight you.”
The Frost Demon looked at the fighters. “Then why bring so many if you are not expecting to fight?” Ginyu clenched his fist, he didn’t want to fight a Frost Demon, but would Frieza be too upset if Ginyu took this body?
Salza laughed softly. “We do not have the goal to fight, but we need to be prepared if that is what you choose to do. Honestly I just want to know more about you.” Salza was stalling, he knew that Frieza and Cooler were coming, and was trying to reduce the time they needed to fight.
The demon smiled. “You want me monologuing? I’ll oblige, my name is Blice, I am the son of the very first Frost Demon, the great Lord Ice, although I do believe I was frozen for much longer than my brethren, as I only thawed a few days ago.”
Ginyu wondered if Blice knew about his transformations, if he didn’t, they had a fighting chance. Blice cleared his throat. “Now that introductions are out of the way, how about a warmup?” Before Ginyu or Salza could react, Blice flicked his hand and they both went flying into the distance. Neiz and Vouz both flew at Blice, he immediately flicked Neiz away with his tail and stabbed a hand through Vouz’s stomach.
Bosou flew towards Blice to help his friend as Ginyu and Salza recovered in the air. “He didn’t even need to touch us, I feel like he might be stronger than Cooler.” Salza looked at Ginyu in confusion. At first he wanted to argue, but then he remembered that Ginyu had taken Cooler’s body, if anyone knew what Cooler was capable of, it was Ginyu.
Ginyu turned on the communications on his scouter. “Run, we can’t win this, get off of the planet. If you go different directions, it will be harder for him to kill us.” The Ginyu Force all took off in different directions.
Salza grabbed Ginyu by his neck. “If you’re going to be a coward at least give my body back so I can fight.” Ginyu kneed Salza in the stomach and punched him in the face, knocking him towards the ground. Ginyu didn’t want to listen to Salza’s terrible opinion of him.
Ginyu flew straight towards the ships, he had to make sure that nobody stole their pods before they got there. He quickly noticed Burter flying alongside him, their relationship had started shaky, but Burter had grown to like Ginyu as a leader, he treated his team like individuals. “Bosou got ripped in half, Dore said he was going to stay and help Salza, and then said something profane about you.”
Ginyu laughed, he was glad to be rid of Dore, despite his strength he was very opposed to Ginyu, and that didn’t help when they needed to look out for each other. “It’s fine, he can be replaced, let’s make sure we don’t need to replace anyone else.”
Suddenly a flash of light flew passed Ginyu and Burter, Ginyu couldn’t even keep up with it. Buter had recognised it as Cooler but was bewildered at how fast he was. Frieza then stopped before Ginyu. “So tell me about our enemy Ginyu.”
Ginyu looked down, he didn’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but he honestly believed Frieza had no chance. “He is stronger than your father was when I fought him. He says he is the son of the first Frost Demon.” Frieza wasn’t very sure on the history of his race, but he knew where they got their power from.
At a young age, Frost Demons are encased in ice, where they rest for a long time, the longer they rest, the stronger they are when they thaw. If this Demon was as old as he said he was, he would rival the power of a god. “Get your men off of the planet Ginyu, I have to help my fool of a brother.”
Frieza rocketed towards Cooler and Blice, he promised his father that he wouldn’t transform, and he wasn’t about to break that promise. Ginyu and Burter arrived at their ships to await the rest of their team.
