Start of Stranded

Everything was a mess, screaming people everywhere, fire, wreckage, it was utter chaos. Surely these people didn’t deserve this.

In the middle of all of this madness was Cory, a Water PM of the planet Telperion. Blue hair and a calm nature were the two most notable traits of a Water PM. He looked around, unsure of what to do, but he knew he had to help as many people as possible. Cory was what you would consider an attractive person, even on Telperion where some people had the ability to change their appearance, he was often given his way because of his kind nature and how he looked.

Cory noticed Marty, a young Fire PM with bright red hair, stuck under a piece of metal nearby, probably a chunk of their ship that had just crashed. Marty was was struggling to lift the metal off of his body. Cory ran passed bodies of other passengers to get to Marty, he tried to help lift the metal to free him, but the two were not strong enough.

Suddenly Cory noticed another pair of hands join is, he looked to see Sophie, her green hair told Cory she was a Grass PM, she reached down and grabbed the metal, Sophie started to strain as her body grew larger, as her body expanded, she lifted the metal off of Marty. This was one of the many abilities of a Grass PM, they could grow 25% in size, but it was a strain, it could tire them out for holding it for too long. Sophie’s increased size was enough to lift the chunk of rubble and let Marty crawl out.

Marty was in a lot of pain, his leg was gashed open and bent at the shin. Cory ran over to the Marty and examined his leg. “Whats your name mate?”

Through his pain, he groaned and took a deep breath. “M-M-Marty.”

Cory gripped Marty’s leg. “Okay Marty, this is going to hurt a little.” Cory bent the shin back into place, Marty screamed in agony and his hands caught fire. Sophie quickly grabbed Marty’s wrists and held him down. Cory held tightly onto the leg and his hands started to glow blue, the wound started to seal and the flames went out. Marty calmed down as the wound turned into a light scar.

(From here I’m unsure)

Sophie exhaled as she returned to her normal size and let go of Marty. The three stood up, Marty stretched his newly healed leg. “I owe you guys, what are your names?”

Cory didn’t wait to talk, he ran further through the ship, hoping to find more survivors, the more people he saved the better. Cory still wasn’t sure where they had crashed, or what was happening next, but Cory hated the thought of letting people die if he could make a difference.

Cory ran passed bodies before seeing a man standing over somebody who appeared injured, crawling on the ground. Cory ran to help as the man raised an open hand at the injured person, a black object flew from the mans hand and hit the person on the ground, they immediately stopped moving.

This was Staffan, throughout much of the Universe he was known, but for somebody like Cory, Staffan was a the kind of person you were happy to be ignorant of. Hole PM like Staffan had one of the most devastating abilities of anyone on Telperion, they could shoot objects known as holes from their hands. They were called holes because they would leave a hole in the first thing they hit, if this hit a person’s face, it would kill them. Hole PM were notoriously arrogant, Cory ran over to the Steffan and pushed him away from the person on the ground. “What the hell are you doing?”

Staffan glared at Cory, he wasn’t used to being confronted, but he didn’t mind an opportunity to teach somebody who he was. “I did him a favour, he was bleeding out. I put him out of his misery.”

“I could have helped him!” Cory yelled in anger.

Staffan looked at the body next to Cory. “Clearly not.” He shoved passed Cory and started walking away when a distressed woman in ran into the ship behind Cory.

“Is there a healer in here?” Cory turned to see a face he remembered from the ship, a girl named Effie who had caught his attention early in their flight, she had a young boy with her. Cory didn’t even speak a word, he ran towards her, as soon as she saw his blue hair she would know he can heal.

Effie started running out of the ripped open wall of the ship. “It’s my brother Alex, he’s been hurt.” As she ran outside, the sun hit her cyan coloured hair and Cory couldn’t help but wish his own hair looked like that, the lighter blue was more enjoyable to look at.

Cory followed the girl to her brother, where they saw a kid, no older than fifteen with hair to match his sister, but it was barely noticeable compared to the cyan coloured blood that covered his body, he had been impaled by a large chunk of metal.

Staffan stepped passed Cory and pointed his hand at Alex’s head, Cory quickly pushed him back. “What are you doing? We are here to help him!” Cory knew that he would be in trouble if this turned into a fight, Cory wasn’t a fighter and he definitely wasn’t going to beat a Hole PM, he would be lucky to even survive.

Staffan scoffed. “Help him? How much energy have you already wasted healing people? By the time we pull whats left of the floor out of the kids stomach he will probably be dead anyway, at least this way he won’t suffer.”

Marty and Sophie approached the group, Sophie grabbed the metal and started to grow her body again. “We don’t let anyone die, especially not a kid.” Cory turned his back on Staffan as Sophie quickly ripped the metal out of the kid’s stomach. Cory put his hands over the young boy and started healing him.

“Oh God, the hole is too big, I don’t know if I can heal it.” Cory was starting to panic, his healing abilities only accelerated a bodies ability to heal, of an injury was too severe, it wouldn’t be possible to heal it.

Staffan smirked as he watched on. “The kid is going to suffer because you wouldn’t let me be right. Good job.” Of course he wasn’t excited to see a child die, but he was happy to watch that death emotionally ruin this wannabe hero.

Cory shook his head, this guy had enough arrogance without Cory making mistakes, he had to save Alex, no matter how much energy it cost him. “You’re right, I’m not letting you be right. Can you change into your Ice form little buddy?” Ice PM were capable of many things, turning their skin to ice made them more durable, but it also meant that more ice could seal their wounds.

Alex’s skin started turning to ice, Cory continued healing, he could feel himself becoming tired. “I need sister to add some ice. Just enough to cover the wound.”

Effie put her hands next to Cory’s, ice particles flew from her hands and covered in the open wound in Alex’s stomach. Cory could feel his hands going numb, the ice was getting onto his fingers. Despite all of the ice, Cory broke into a sweat as the wound finally closed over.

The boy was still in pain, he murmured a thank you and passed out, his skin turning back to normal. Cory noticed a group of onlookers had formed around him, these must have been the survivors of the crash.
